摘要: THE liberation of acetylcholine from the motor nerve endings in skeletal muscle is believed to take place a quantal manner. The arrival action potential at terminals elicits release number packets molecules fairly uniform size, each them producing unit depolarization post-synaptic membrane. This view derived statistical analysis random step-wise fluctuations amplitude successive end-plate potentials recorded single neuromuscular junctions blocked by excess magnesium ions or lack calcium ions1. average magnitude steps was found be identical with mean size miniature same junction and due spontaneous extrusion quanta resting endings.
