Biological control of whiteflies and other pests with a fungal pathogen

摘要: The subject invention concerns a novel biopesticide and its use to control whiteflies other pests which cause significant amount of damage plants throughout the United States Caribbean. These are particularly destructive in greenhouses nurseries. A virulent isolate Paecilomyces fumosoroseus an agricultural composiiton, can be used effectively these insects. Exemplified herein is Apopka, ATCC 20874. By using this fungus, or mutants thereof, controlled without environmental public safety hazards presented by chemical agents.
