摘要: In graphics display systems the use of matrix concatenation for coordinate transformation, occasionally, will cause an overflow which may represent out-of-bounds location a data element. To correct problem, number translation shift factors are introduced last row when used to operate on elements, maintain elements within physical boundaries base by preventing overflow. Additionally, method adjusting clipping increase precision transformations is also described. The methods invention be implemented in microcode commercially availably system such as IBM 5080 Graphics System.
