摘要: Abstract A habitat suitability index (HSI) model was developed for a water quality sensitive fish (Greater Redhorse) and macroinvertebrate (Plecoptera) species to determine the restoration success of St. John Dam removal Sandusky River (Ohio). An ArcGIS® created pre- post-dam scenarios. Inputs HSI consist substrate distributions from river surveys, level velocity time series, outputs hydrodynamic model. The predicted indices at 45 cross-sections in programmed produce polygon layers, using graphical user interfaces that were displayed environment. results clearly show an increase periods former reservoir. change is attributed mostly depth following dam both invertebrate species. followed same positive trend as enumerations basin.
