摘要: Heart rate, blood pressure, transcutaneous gases, and catecholamine changes following intravenous injection of pancuronium were evaluated in seven ill newborn infants (birth weight: 1,280 to 4,500 g; gestational age, 29 42 weeks). Each infant was monitored continuously for 30 minutes before 50 after infusion the paralyzing agent. There no significant whereas increases heart rate; systolic, diastolic, mean pressures; norepinephrine epinephrine levels found. The increase rate lasted minutes, pressure persisted administration drug. Because potential relationship between increased intraventricular hemorrhage myocardial dysfunction, must be during distressed newborns. These data suggest that stimulates sympathetic activity
