摘要: Temporal and spatial patterns of polychaete oligochaete populations inhabiting intertidal sediments the Quequen Grande estuary (Buenos Aires Province, Argentina) were analysed monthly during a yearly period. Local are poorly selected, very fine sands, with high percentage mud. Two sites, located at both banks studied: (1) Site N, comparatively steep slope mud increasing sediment depth; (2) Q, gentle towards surface. The assemblage annelids was characterised by low specific richness, being composed just 4 species: polychaetes Laeonereis acuta, Boccardiella ligerica Capitella sp., tubificid Ilyodrilus cf. frantzi. Density nereid L. acuta reached peak in late summer minimum spring. population sp. also showed maximum densities summer, but collapsed early fall, disappearing completely from study area. Densities I. frantzi highly variable time space. Three species site where content highest At this sampling site, most occurred within upper 8 cm substrate. On contrary, organic matter increased depth, more abundant subsurface layers (8–16 cm) than
