摘要: Every organism has to deal with exposure stresses.Animals have developed various strategies cope stress. It appears that the resistanceto stress is often related longevity. Somescientists advanced hypothesis thestress response may also counteract negativeeffects of aging, and exposing organisms amild, sublethal stress, inducing a response, may help them live longer. Several mild stresseshave been reported increase longevity (irradiation, heat cold shock, hypergravity, exercise, etc.), andone them, decrease rate ofbehavioral aging. The mechanisms whereby thesestresses not yet elucidated. However, studies conducted so far show theymay involve metabolic regulation protein(hsps) induction.
