摘要: Introduction: Focal adhesion kinase (FAK) plays a crucial role in cancer development and progression. FAK is overexpressed and/or activated associated with poor prognosis various malignancies. However, lung cancer, expression its prognostic value are unknown. Methods: (phospho-FAK Y397) expressions were analyzed by multiplex immunofluorescence staining formalin-fixed paraffin-embedded tissues from 95 non-small-cell (NSCLC) 105 small-cell (SCLC) patients, 37 healthy donors. The score was defined as the percentage (%) of FAK-stained tumor area multiplied (×) mean intensity phospho-FAK (% phospho-FAK-stained low × 1) + medium 2) high 3). scores compared between normal, NSCLC, SCLC tissues. They also tested for correlations patient characteristics clinical outcomes. Results: median follow-up time after first treatment 42.5 months 6.4 NSCLC respectively. significantly higher than normal to (p < 0.01). Moreover, ratio did not correlate recurrence-free overall survival patients. Conclusions: Total lung, but biomarkers this study.
