摘要: Abstract The usual perspectives on tourism planning have been economic. This paper argues for the need to take much more explicit account of non-economic costs (and benefits) in this field, and links discussion questions that preoccupied those concerned with general issues development recent years. It emphasises planners act specific socio-politocal contexts, it is especially dynamics class structures theis expression power relations at local national levels which influence outcomes field. Practical social are discussed, dangers too massive fast stressed. Some attention also paid role transnational enterprises question bargaining international level.
