摘要: Plane potential flow past a circular cylinder beneath free surface under gravity is investigated in order to determine the importance or otherwise of non-linear effects from free-surface boundary condition. It shown that second-order corrections first-order linearized expressions for wave-induced forces on are considerably larger than which present even with linear Further evidence non-linearity presented form streamline plots solution showing strange behaviour at wave crests.
