Abstract Aim: To explore the association between periodontal adults, independently demographic factors, socioeconomic position other common oral conditions. Materials Methods: This is a cross-sectional study 3122 dentate adults who participated 1998 Adult Dental Health Survey United Kingdom. The short-form health impact profile (OHIP-14) was used to assess health-related life. defined as having at least two proximal sites with loss attachment 4 mm one site pocket depth 4 mm, not necessarily on same tooth. OHIP-14 score assessed unadjusted, partially adjusted fully models. Results: associated (rate ratio: 1.26, 95% CI: 1.16–1.38), even after adjustment for factors (sex, age English region or country), (educational attainment household income) clinical conditions (number teeth, partial denture use, dental caries, traumatic injuries tooth wear). Conclusion: life, independent socio-demographic characteristics present mouth.
