摘要: Abstract Differences in shell morphology and colour were found between four geographically separated populations of the mangrove periwinkle Littorina angulifera (Lamarck) from south part Florida. There was also a genetic divergence (at most 580 km apart) within 3 12 enzyme loci examined, average identity estimated to 0.988. It is suggested that gene-flow limited allozyme differences are due random drift, while differential selection likely account for morphological differences. The identities L. three species ziczac species-complex low (0.09 0.18) compared con-generic generally obtained animal kingdom.
