摘要: It is now clear that the phenomenon of a blood-brain barrier results from high-resistance endothelium cerebral vessels. The glial sheath appears to have no transport function but determines specific characteristics endothelium. Among mechanisms present in potent sodium-potassium pump abluminal membrane. probably secretes small volume fluid into interstitium. Ouabain-insensitive potassium has been investigated isolated capillaries. This component very dependent on osmolality medium, being markedly increased hypertonic medium and decreased hypotonic conditions. behavior may well be important determining net exchanges across barrier, which contribute control brain osmotic disturbances.
