摘要: Single unit activity in the supramammillary, mammillary, and anterior hypothalamic areas response to acoustic, photic, sciatic nerve stimulation was recorded cats anesthetized with chloralose immobilized succinylcholine. In sensory spontaneous firing rate increased or decreased, silent neurons were activated. Evoked potentials of had shortest latent period acoustic somatosensory (15 msec), rather longer photic (30 msec); some cases their 200 msec. Histograms interspike interval distribution showed a maximum for intervals up 50 spike relative beginning maximal density between 100 A high degree convergence excitation found on units as well posterior hypothalamus. Unit responses hypothalamus stimuli all three modalities are regarded being secondary, nonspecific type.
