摘要: Abstract : The formation of pyrophoric Fe-nanoparticles and foils from Fe(II)-oxalate Fe-oxyhydroxide gel was investigated after thermal decomposition reduction under H2 atmosphere. synthesized by a controlled nucleation process involving the addition oxalic acid in an FeC12 .2H2O solution followed separation drying. using Fe(II) salt, non-ionic surfactant, propylene oxide. Oxalate powder sandwiched between two mesoporous Y2O3 barrier layers on metal foil, whereas coated directly foil to prepare reactive substrates. In other experiments, infiltrated inside porous alumina substrate. Assynthesized materials were decomposed quartz tubular reactor at 450-520 deg C, reduced with gas mixtures containing 5-100 vol% N2, exposed air ambient conditions determine their properties. bulk prepared Feoxalate produced reaction temperature about 800 C less than 1 sec. substrates Fe above 900 C. Tunable obtained mixing Fe-oxalate different weight proportions gels, which showed variation 80 600 ratio 30-80%.
