摘要: Three strains of Echinococcus granulosus have been previously identified in Spain (namely ‘sheep’, ‘horse’ and ‘pig’), but these Spanish not properly genotyped yet. The aim the present research was to identify genotype which they correspond to. Cyst isolates were obtained from different host species, strain each belonged established by analysis its random amplified polymorphic DNA (RAPD) banding patterns. These results compared those with two mitochondrial fragment sequences (cytochrome oxidase 1 (CO1) NADH dehydrogenase (ND1)) isolate. ‘sheep’ corresponded (G1) parasite, infecting sheep, cattle, goat, pig, wild boar human; 4 (G4), only horses; ‘pig’ 7 (G7), pig boar. Goat, can be infected genotypes, G1 G7. This circumstance, especially possibility sylvatic intermediate hosts serving as reservoirs must taken into consideration authorities order develop evaluate effective anti-hydatidosis programmes.
