摘要: Abstract An eco-evolutionary food web model is modified to incorporate a body-size trait, enabling framework for non-uniform mortality and ecological efficiency between species. Evolved communities feature increased connectance, with according benefits community robustness, persistent top predators but reduced omnivory chain lengths. Body-size maintains strong positive correlation trophic level, does not correlate an individual species’ contribution network stability. A spatially-explicit extension of the assembles large metacommunities distinct distributions amongst local webs.
