摘要: Abstract Linderstrom-Lang has reported that partial separation of the components a gas mixture occurs when it is passed through particular type vortex tube. The present work confirms this effect and, using several different mixtures and sizes tube, shows there critical inlet Reynolds number for maximum by device. A correlation derived which satisfactorily predicts performance over wide range parameters applied pressures.
