摘要: The ability of crosslinked poly(acrylic acid) gels to retain chromium species was studied as a function pH. Chromium retention found increase with pH according two mechanisms. In the low range where are soluble, occurs via ion-binding in whole volume gel. At higher insoluble hydroxide particles formed, comes from an adsorption process at surface desorption under acidic conditions also investigated and be very dependent on mechanism aging time polymer–chromium complex.
