摘要: The motivation for research on switched current filters, reduction of power supply voltage, and consequent in the voltage swing at internal nodes filter has led to investigation log-domain filters. basic idea, known speech coding achieve large dynamic range using small number bits, is called companding. Tsividis, Gopinathan, Toth [5.1] have pointed out that while companding telecommunications was divided between transmitter receiver distant locations (see figure 5.1 (a)), could be exploited a chip as well (figure (b)). Note (b), control signal based envelope x’ itself or transmitted separately a. Linear operations can implemented concept having advantage better SNR. input compressed before being processed then expanded output, restore it its original range. resulting swings lead higher operating frequencies, lower distortion, interference circuit. These aspects are discussed detail this chapter. We mainly consider various types mapping from linear domain non-linear domain, e.g., log, tan h cos h, sin exponential state-space square-root domains.
