摘要: The novel potential of hybrid phase change materials (PCM) as a mix animal fat, specifically pork fat (lard), with edible and waste oil from the food processing industry was investigated in this paper. Lard is relatively accessible material organic origin, significantly lower unit price when compared to conventional PCM (wholesale price lard can be less than 0.50 €/kg). On an annual basis, large amount thrown away because it has become inedible nutritional point view. Experimental results directed that addition oils improve thermal constants such conductivity, volumetric heat capacity, diffusivity being reduced. best result achieved for combination burnt conductivity improved by 1.4% capacity 11% respect base PCM, i.e., (lard). proposed PCMs are more economically viable, enabling utilization resources, securing environmental impact materials. possible application should further specific engineering applications, energy storage.
