摘要: Introduction Lactose malabsorption arises from lactase deficiency and may lead to lactose intolerance - gastrointestinal symptoms after ingestion. Occurrence severity of the are influenced by many factors, including dose intensity its colonic fermentation short chain fatty acids gases. Material methods The hydrogen breath test (HBT) 30 g or 50 was performed in 387 children. Further analysis included children who had a positive HBT result. parameters were net concentration each total during HBT. time first rise also calculated. analyzed according occurrence (lack present), (lack, moderate severe) (30 g). Results One hundred six (12.1 years, 46 boys) Symptoms positively related at min, 60 min 90 (p < 0.001 point), as well 0.001). There no differences excretion between subjects with severe more frequent given than those (79% vs. 47%, p = 0.003). In both groups excretion. Conclusions is closely ingested lactose.
