摘要: Abstract To evaluate the practical utility of competitive exclusion as an aid in controlling Salmonella, a survey was conducted New South Wales, Australia to determine incidence Salmonella 20 broiler flocks at time slaughter during 12-month period. The determined by culturing ceca 50 randomly selected chickens per flock. results demonstrated high level carriers (more than 30%) 6 flocks, moderate (11 4 low (1 10%) 2 and 8 from which no were isolated. Five serotypes, S. eimsbeutel, havana, luanshya, Singapore, typhimurium isolated with being most common. Salmonellae much less frequently reared on old litter new litter.
