摘要: The intestinal conservation mechanism of bile salts is highly efficient. From 20–40 g excreted daily into bile, only 0.5 are lost through fecal excretion and have to be replaced by de novo acid synthesis. This achieved enterohepatic circulation salts, which depends on the coordinated action numerous transporter proteins expressed at basolateral apical membrane liver, biliary small epithelial cells. following paragraphs introduce major hepatobiliary transport systems involved in briefly describe their role hepatocellular physiology formation. reader also referred several complementary reviews that appeared recently referenced throughout manuscript.
