摘要: Analysis of mouse CD4+ inducer T cells at the clonal level has established that a dichotomy among cell clones exists with regard to types lymphokines secreted. Mouse designated Th1 have been shown secrete IL-2 and IFN-gamma, whereas Th2 produce IL-4 but not or IFN-gamma. To determine if such in helper subset occurred man, we examined panel human helper/inducer for patterns lymphokine secretion functional activity. We identified which appeared correspond murine clones. In marked contrast secreting do observed some IL-2, IFN-gamma as well IL-4. Southern blot analysis indicated these multi-lymphokine-secreting represented progeny single cell. did always correlated enhanced ability induce Ig synthesis. Although one clone secreted IL-4, could efficiently synthesis, another expressed potent cytolytic growth inhibitory activity B cells, was ineffective inducing These results indicate although equivalent type appears be present simple division into may hold true cells.
