摘要: The aim of this study was to evaluate the occurence compensation in mesiodistal axial inclinations canines skeletal malocclusions patients. sample consisted 25 Angle Class II, division 1 malocclusion (group 1) and 19 III patients 2). After measurement dental angulations through a method that associates plaster model photography AutoCad software, comparisons between groups were performed by T-test for independent samples. Results showed there no statistically significant difference (p < 0.05) groups, when maxillary canine compared. Regarding mandibular canines, angulation, expressed 3.2° group 0.15° 2. An upright position tendency observed sample. This configures pattern compensatory coronary positioning, since angulation these teeth makes them occupy less space arch consequently incisors can be more retracted sagittal plane.
