摘要: The goal of this experiment was to determine the electrical properties tissue reaction implanted microelectrode arrays. We describe a new method analyzing impedance spectroscopy data complex as function postimplantation time. A model is used extract parameters electrode-tissue interface, and isolate immediately surrounding microelectrode. arrays consist microfabricated polyimide probes, incorporating four 50-mum-diameter platinum microelectrodes. devices were in primary motor cortex adult rats, measurements performed for 12 weeks. Histology on implants at three time points one month. Results demonstrate that causes rapid increase bioimpedance over first 20 days, then stabilizes. This result supported by histological data.
