摘要: The purpose of this study is to measure the health-relatedquality life (HRQOL) in children who are long-term survivors liver transplantation and pilot Liver Transplant Disability Scale (LTDS), a newly developed 12-point scale that quantifies chronic medical disability related transplantation. This crosssectional survey 51 surviving by at least 2 years, with median age 4.94 years. Functional capacity utility scores were measured Health Utilities Index Mark II (HUI2), disease-specific was LTDS. HUI2 results compared reference population. LTDS patient survival 3 years later. Ninety percent patients had functional deficits 50% controls. impairment typically mild. resulting mean score, 0.86 ± 0.13 (0 = dead, 1 perfect health), significantly less than population, 0.95 0.07 (P < .001). ranged from 0 (no disability) 6 (moderate disability). Seventy-one mild (scores 3), 29% moderate 4 6). did not correlate but predictive survival. majority pediatric transplant recipients have deficits. Their reflected high level HRQOL those also disability, predominantly delayed growth. Medical predicted
