摘要: Mental health in children and adults has always been a controversial topic, however, recent mass shootings schools have heightened the concern of many raise questions for how to interact with mentally ill. Schools, capacity be one key stakeholders delivering services students mental concerns, therefore it is critical understand dispositions teachers toward these ensure that they needs students. The purpose this study examine specific characteristic preservice teachers’ attitudes towards individuals illnesses. sample consisted 173 enrolled four-year teacher education program at public research university located southeastern United States. Results indicated four demographic variables contributed teacher’s on Community Attitudes Illness (CAMI) measure its various subscales: political orientation, knowing someone illness, believing ADHD ASD were Implications future are discussed.
