摘要: Why do some Alzheimer’s patients produce fewer false memories than healthy older participants in the Deese–Roediger–McDermott paradigm, which was especially designed for study of a laboratory setting? Using very simple methodology, this examines new explanatory factor inherent paradigm itself: order presentation words lists. A sample comprising 149 (36 younger, 40 middle-aged, 37 adults, and 36 patients) performed DRM task with either classic descending forward associative strength (FAS) or an ascending FAS order. The results showed that manipulation influenced production only. Contrary to other participants, produced significantly more critical lures condition condition. These data, interpreted light serial position effects, invite reconsideration relevance comparing participants.
