摘要: The Swedish experience of the recovery from financial system crisis with quick structural reform has often drawn attention as one best practices policy-makers in various countries. For instance, International Monetary Fund its 1997 report counted Sweden five ‘substantial progress countries’ (Dziobek and Pazarbasioglu, 1997). In discussion on Japan, case had appeared rather sporadically until mid-1990s (Yoshino, 1994; Masumura, 1997), but it attracted much 1998 Diet session where measures were discussed most intensively. Japanese have shown their interest more since then, previous observations, however, merely focused technical aspect. Hence, ordinary pattern is to point out some advantages disadvantages such policy nationalization problem banks divestiture bad assets, discuss applicability those Japan.
