摘要: AbstractThe results of a study on the spatial patterns, composition and structure coastal salt marsh plant communities central Mediterranean area are presented. Eleven transects perpendicular to shore were selected in southeastern Sicily. For each transect, floristic cover determined using standard releve methods, collecting 220 plots. The plot data analysed classification (Unweighted Pair Group Method with Arithmetic Mean, similarity ratio) ordination methods (Detrended Correspondence Analysis). A total 15 specific compositions recognized, mainly distributed two different habitats: regularly flooded lower zone an irregularly upper zone.
