摘要: Temporal and spatial variation in CH4 emissions was studied at hummock, Eriophorum lawn, flark Carex lawn microsites an oligotrophic pine fen over the growing season using a static chamber method, production oxidation potentials peat profiles from hummock were determined laboratory incubation experiments. Emissions lowest hummocks, decreased with increasing height, while lawns flarks they increased sedge cover. Statistical response functions water table temperature as independent variables calculated order to reconstruct seasonal by reference time series for specific each microsite type. Mean whole area snow-free period of 1993, weighted terms proportions microsites, 1.7 mol m-2. Potential rates very low hummocks rising above groundwater table, but relatively similar when expressed per dry weight both below table. The potential autumn seemed decrease. decrease certainly reduced situ decomposition processes, possibly leaving unused substrates peat, which would explain increase potential.
