摘要: Naturally occurring cell death via apoptosis has been reported in the substantia nigra of rats during development, culminating perinatal period. Cellular pathways leading to apoptotic developing nigral dopamine neurons remain unknown, although mediator, caspase 3, shown be activated this process. Our previous results demonstrated inability antioxidants rescue that undergo development. In present study, we investigated using immunohistochemistry expression cyclins D1, D3, and E pre- postnatal since their re-expression postmitotic proposed contribute developmental apoptosis. We also by Western blot analysis tissue isolated first week anti- pro-apoptotic proteins, Bcl-2 Bax, respectively, altered described. During detected a significant increase Bax:Bcl-2 ratio, which is consistent with enhanced There were no changes same These novel findings suggest through Bax:Bcl-2-sensitive pathway does not involve cyclin mediation.
