摘要: An efficient method is presented to improve the stability of a submerged functionally graded (FG) cylindrical shell which subjected external hydrostatic pressure. To while satisfying application requirements for thickness, we focused on optimum value power-law exponent maximize critical The obtained from an analysis influence factors results show that pressure can be greatly increased by using exponent, and growth rate almost constant independent geometry boundary condition. advantage present in reducing thickness illustrated examples. In addition, applicable all kinds material combinations.
