摘要: Acinetobacter baumannii frequently targets the most vulnerable hospitalized patients, especially in intensive care units. Bacteremia, nosocomial pneumonia and surgical wound infections caused by A. have a higher mortality compared to other pathogens. The severity of diseases this microorganism is accentuated its resistance many antibiotics currently used world. In context, we undertook isolate several strains from various samples collected Beni Messous University Hospital Center, Algiers (Algeria), determine antibiotic profile these evaluate antagonistic potential some actinobacterial against baumannii. Nineteen were isolated identified. predominant number pulmonary (36.84%) unit (57.89%) was All sensitive colistin but exhibited high 11 tested. Of 19 strains, 15 metallo-β-carbapenemase producers, 10 cephalosporinase, three extended-spectrum β-lactamases (ESBL) producers. 59 actinobacteria tested, (32.20%) showed activity at least one strain baumannii, highest being detected belonging genus Saccharothrix (or related genera). However, Streptomyces sp. WAB9 had widest spectrum activity. Based on obtained results, remains unique which inhibits growth all also present an alternative source new molecules with strong bioactivities multidrug-resistant strains.
