摘要: A male Pallas' cat (Felis manul) was housed under natural lighting conditions in an outdoor pen for 20 mo and subjected to bimonthly reproductive evaluations consisting of blood sampling hormonal analysis, testicular volume body weight measurement, electroejac ulation. Distinct seasonal patterns were identified; sperm production quality the breeding season (December-April) significantly higher (P 0.05) between seasons, but gain loss occurred both serum luteinizing hormone (LH) concentrations greater < 0.01) during season, concentration, total number per ejaculate, percentage morphologically normal sperm, motility, LH concentration correlated (r = 0.60-0.99; P 0.05). The exhibits a pronounced seasonality, which has important impli cations captive management genome resource banking.
