摘要: There is a growing recognition within both the practice and research communities in pharmacy that serious attention must be given to systematic study of outcomes services, especially those are focused on patient. Research has tended focus too strongly measurement structure process, with unspoken assumption if these good quality, outcome will automatically similar. However, literature instruments vast practitioners moving into this area for first time may find themselves lost morass conflicting definitions different methods measurement. This review considers measures or 'measurement instruments' used assess subjective health status. Two commonly taxonomies described concern conceptual content (functional status, general perceptions, quality life health‐related life) breadth coverage (generic, disease specific, domain dimensions specific patient‐centred instruments). Specific paid newest groups, instruments, which very style other three reflect change direction instrument development, address limitations 'fixed' instruments. Detail what makes particular circumstances (validity, reliability, sensitivity change, multidimensional construct, practicality applicability), help pharmacists develop necessary skills select appropriate burgeoning field
