摘要: Intramedullary astrocytoma is one of the less common tumors central nervous system. The impact prognostic factors on survival can play a major role in treatment planning and help patient counseling; however conflicting conclusions are reported literature. We try to assess importance various patient-, tumor- treatment- related disease prognosis survival. Particular attention turned following: age, gender, history length, functional status, tumor location extent, associated cyst or syrinx presence, as well grade. Treatment strategies (resection extent radiotherapy) also evaluated.
