摘要: Abstract Using the Airy stress function, an analytical solution is obtained for a bi-material beam with graded intermediate layer, which subjected to uniform load on upper surface and has different boundary conditions at two ends. Young’s modulus of layer assumed be arbitrary function thickness coordinate its Poisson’s ratio kept constant. The can easily degenerate into ones tri-material beam, homogeneous some them coincide available solutions. numerical (finite-element-based) results are in agreement each other several examples. influence distribution cantilever discussed when takes functions.
