摘要: This article presents an analysis of computer ownership and Internet access in Brazil from 2001 to 2004. Using a linear regression model relate income the probability home access, we show that African descents are 7% less likely own 5% have than families other ethnicities with same total family per capita. Likewise, if African-descent already owns computer, there is still having home. These gaps reduced, but do not disappear when one adds education level or presence child at analysis. Regional differences for 2004 data whether make up majority population statistically significant as factor explain gap differences.
