摘要: espanolLa presente investigacion tuvo como objetivo desarrollar una Escala de Autoestima Corporal (EAC) y analizar sus propiedades psicometricas. Los participantes fueron 2842, 48.5% varones 51.5% mujeres, el 62% entre 12-16 anos 38% 17-21 anos, pertenecientes al Pais Vasco (Espana). La escala consta 26 items que evaluan la autoestima corporal integrando dos aspectos misma, satisfaccion atractivo corporal. Se analizan las psicometricas fiabilidad mediante alpha Cronbach un test-retest, asi validez convergente, a traves subescala insatisfaccion del Inventario Trastornos Alimentarios (EDI-2), Rosenberg (RSE) Narcisismo (NP-15). divergente se comprobo con Ansiedad Social para Adolescentes (SAS-A). resultados muestran puntuaciones significativamente superiores en chicas los jovenes. Las son muy satisfactorias poblacion objeto estudio.
