摘要: AFLP and RAPDmarkers were employed in sixteen diploid cotton (Gossypium sp) cultivars for genetic diversity estimation cultivar identification. Polymorphism information content (PIC) percent polymorphism found to be more markers as compared RAPD markers. Average Jaccard’s similarity index was almost similar using either or All the could distinguished from one another also by combined profiles. Cultivar identification indicators like resolving power, marker probability of chance identity two suggested usefulness over analyses revealed limited studied cultivars. Cluster analysis both data produced clusters, containing G. herbaceum arboreum species. Highly positive correlation between cophenetic matrices observed. efficient estimation, detection
