摘要: ABSTRACTA new series of photoresponsive thermotropic liquid crystalline copoly(arylidene-ether)s based on both 4-tert-butylcyclohexanone and cyclohexanone moieties in the main chain were synthesised using solution polycondensation technique with different 4,4ʹ-diformyl-α,ω-diphenoxyalkane derivatives. Two model compounds from reaction each cycloalkanone monomer benzaldehyde, their structures determined single crystal X-ray diffraction. The structure monomers copolymers was confirmed by elemental spectral analyses. In addition, thermal stabilities these evaluated thermogravimetric analysis. We performed differential scanning calorimertric polarised optical microscopic measurements to investigate properties copolymers.
