摘要: Abstract Characteristics of oscillating water flow in open-cell metal foam were obtained experimentally. The had 20 pores per inch and a porosity 87.6%. Three displacements 74.35, 97.2 111.53 mm applied the frequency range 0.116–0.696 Hz. Steady-state experiment was also conducted permeability form/inertial drag coefficient obtained. velocity covered Darcy Forchheimer regimes. effect displacement on important variables is presented discussed. appropriately defined friction factor correlated well with Reynolds number for steady-state flows, being higher. current results compared to other studies from literature employing air various kinds porous media. Some agreements disagreements are stated
