摘要: This paper reviewed on the studies effects oh microcystins human health. So far, there have been several important historical events related with this. First, scientists revealed for first time that could potently inhibit protein phosphatase 1 and 2A in 1990, which was most molecular basis toxicity of microcystins. Second, intoxications by MCs (-LR, -YR -AR) caused deaths 52 patients at Caruaru dialysis centers Brazil 1996. Third, high incidence primary liver cancer southeast China MC contamination drinking waters. Fourth, World Health Organization provided a provisional guideline value I mu g/L water 1998. Recently, were identified serum chronically exposed population (fishermen Lake Chaohu, South China) together indication hepatocellular damage. Conclusively, substantial evidences to indicate harmful influences health, therefore toxic being can not be ignored especially nowadays ever-increasing eutrophication frequent occurrence cyanobacterial blooms.
