摘要: Hybrid precoding architectures are widely studied for millimeter wave (mmWave) massive MIMO systems. A major challenge in designing hybrid precoders is the practical constraints on number of RF chains, which can have a direct impact spectral and energy efficiencies communication In this paper, we investigate tradeoff between two performance metrics both static mobile scenarios via closed-form expressions, when active chains be selected. Based these computational complexity to configure precoder reduced, used adaptively activate required given system channel condition. Numerical results indicate that certain should activated order maximize efficiency at high SNRs, generally different from optimal configuration efficiency. Furthermore, low shown simple analog beamforming, uses only single chain, efficiencies. addition, proposed mobility-aware capable effectively achieving beamforming gain high-speed devices.
