摘要: Excessive daytime sleepiness (EDS) is the hallmark symptom of hypersomnias central origin. Historically, medications were primary treatment option, with goals improving alertness while minimizing side effects. Though not well recognized, and underutilized, special consideration should be given to nonpharmacological interventions such as cognitive-behavioral therapy, relaxation training, light effective adjuncts pharmacotherapy comprise a comprehensive plan offering best care possible for patients hypersomnia.
