摘要: This investigation was carried out with the aim of determining effect paclobutrazol (PBZ) (0 and 2 mg l−1) polyethylene glycol (PEG) (0, 2, 4 6 % w/v PEG 6000) treatments on antioxidant system Stevia rebaudiana Bertoni under in vitro condition. Analysis data showed that treatment significantly increased hydrogen peroxide (H2O2) phenolic contents, while PBZ limited them. Our revealed total capacity, catalase (CAT), ascorbate peroxidase (APX), polyphenol oxidase (PPO) (POD) activity, it inversely decreased glutathione reductase (GR) activity. The superoxide dismutase (SOD) activity not affected by treatment. induced higher levels CAT GR lower SOD PEG-treated plants. combination resulted no significant difference APX alone. prevented PPO (with or without PBZ) pool, whereas level PEG. finding indicated reduced negative quenching H2O2 accumulation increasing Collectively, capacity S. condition associated active enzymatic non-enzymatic defence systems which partly could be improved In addition, a compounds leads to more potent reactive oxygen species scavenging rebaudiana.
