摘要: Conditions for three-wave resonance between surface gravity waves on uniform current in deep water are found. The resonances occur because propagating downstream elongated (relative to their still form), whereas upstream contracted. Under certain conditions, the elongation and contraction is such an extent that difference wavenumbers closes with a third wave. In contrast, existing literature assumes there no wave triad current. Rather, lowest order nonlinear assumed be four-wave interaction. this sense, results represent new class of resonances. Moreover, since triads lower than interactions, effects will be, by definition, magnitude greater (in slope ka) strongest known conditions. Thus, important mechanism growth energy exchange waves.
